No. It doesn't block or hide anything. When an ad starts, it reloads the page, the same as pressing refresh, and the next load often comes up without one.
Reroll only reloads the page, the same thing you'd do by pressing refresh yourself. We don't know of any account being flagged for reloading. YouTube sets its own rules, though, so we can't promise anything on its behalf.
Every reload is a new roll. Sometimes the fresh page comes up with another ad, so Reroll rerolls again. It keeps going until your video shows up without one, up to five reloads. If an ad is still there after that, it lets that one play rather than keep reloading.
Most of the time. YouTube can change how ads work at any point, and Reroll may stop working until an update catches up. The popup shows how it's doing for you, and warns you if it starts missing ads.
Reroll knows when an ad is skippable, but it still rerolls right away. Waiting for the Skip button takes about five seconds, and a reload is usually faster. You can't click Skip for it: YouTube ignores clicks that don't come from you.
No. For an ad in the middle of a video, Reroll reloads you back to one second before where you were.
Yes. Ads in the middle of a stream or a long video get rerolled too, and you land back one second before your spot.
It works the same whether you're signed in or not. If an ad blocker stops an ad first, Reroll never sees it. If an ad gets through, Reroll rerolls it.
It can. A rerolled ad doesn't play to the end, so it may not count for the creator the way a watched ad would. If you want to support a channel, switch Reroll off while you watch it. It's one click in the popup.
Only youtube.com. It counts the ads it rerolled, on your computer, so the popup can show you. No account, and nothing is sent anywhere. The full story is in the privacy policy.
Yes. Pro is $9 once, with no subscription. It adds rerolls for ads in the middle of videos and your week-by-week history, kept for good. It includes every update while Reroll is maintained. You can try it free for 7 days first.
Reroll switches to Free on its own. Nothing stops working: ads before videos still get rerolled, and your stats stay. Ads in the middle of videos play normally until you unlock Pro. Nothing to cancel, since there was never a card.
Yes. If Pro isn't worth it to you, email support@reroll.click within 14 days of buying and you get your $9 back. No reason needed. The details are in the terms.
If Reroll is ever retired, we'll say so here and in the popup, and ship a final update that unlocks Pro for everyone. Nobody who paid gets locked out.
Not yet. Reroll is for Chrome on your computer.
Reroll is coming soon to the Chrome Web Store.
